Programme Management Units
Eurecna has managed several Programme Management Units (PMU) or Programme Coordination Units (PCU) over the years and has gained a solid experience in planning activities, allocating resources and managing budgets of complex multi-component Technical Assistance projects/programmes in line with EC procedures.
We have provided support in managing EC funds in a transparent and efficient way, written Manual of Procedures for PMU/PCU operation, provided advice in drafting Applications Forms and Instructions for Applicants, operated grant schemes, organized the procurement for beneficiary organisations and designed and implemented Management Information and Financial Control Systems for TA Programmes. While operating grants schemes for supporting social and economic development initiatives at the regional scale, we have also taken care of the promotion, identification, contracting and monitoring of sub-projects selected and financed for their capacity to meet locally identified needs.
We have also designed and operated credit lines made available by the EC and development banks for private sector development, set-up apex schemes and taken care of monitoring the loan portfolios and credit line performance.
